How do I create an Instagram account?

To create an Instagram account from the app:

Download the Instagram app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android).
Once the application is installed, tap on to open it.
Sign up with an email or phone number (Android) or tap Create a new account (iPhone), then enter

your email address or phone number (which will require a confirmation code) and tap Go.  You can also tap on Log in with Facebook to sign up with your Facebook account.
If you register with your email or phone number, create a username and password, fill in your profile information and then tap Done.  If you register on Facebook, even if you are currently logged out of your Facebook account, you will be asked to log into it.
 To create an Instagram account from your computer:

Go to instagram.com.
Enter your email address, create a username and password, or sign up with your Facebook account by clicking Login via Facebook.

If you register via an email, click Sign Up.  If you register on Facebook, even if you are currently logged out of your Facebook account, you will be asked to log into it.
If you sign up via email, be sure to enter your email address correctly and choose an email address that only you can access.  If you log out and forget your password, you will need to be able to access your email to return to your Instagram account.

 How do I log out of Instagram?
 You can log out of Instagram from the Instagram application or by visiting your profile on the web.

Tap or click on the top right
Tap or click on the right side of your username and then choose Log out
iPhone or Android

Go to your profile and tap on.
 Tap on Settings.
 Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Log out with [username].
 If you want Instagram to remember your login information, tap it or not.
 Tap Log Out.
